Jasmine starts school

Oh my giddy aunt, it has been a long while since I blogged. But it is an auspicious day - Jasmine's first day at school - so whilst I may have missed Christmas and almost our entire Summer, I absolutely have to put the ubiquitous first day of school photos up.

And yes, in case you didn't spot him already, in the last photo it's none other than Beau who's holding open the classroom door at the end of the day, ever eager to be part of the action.

Jasmine told me tonight that she made two new friends - but couldn't remember their names. She said that her worst part of the day was when she missed me and started crying 'just a little bit', but her teacher gave her a cuddle and she felt better. Her best part of the day was 'everything else!'.
