Bounce!

Earlier this year we bought a 21st century trampoline (ie. one surrounded by mesh netting. Personaly, I was up for getting an old-school side-less variety. But I have to admit it was mainly for aesthetic reasons. Fortunately for the kids bones Tim won that one.). In only a few weeks Beau overcame his wonky-hipped-double-step-landing, and true to form, Jasmine had it mastered in a matter of minutes.

These photos were from a recent trip to Red Hill (very near to where we Winery Toured for Tim's 40th), where we stopped for a bite at a local cafe/olive grove/winery/duck pond/vegetable garden/ and, as it turned out, with its own built in trampoline.

Blue steel

I haven't been blogging much lately, and to be honest, I blame it on my new life-enhancement device - my iPhone. Instead of taking photos on a regular digi camera (how 'naughties'), and having to put them on my computer to enjoy and share, my entire life has been super-charged and contained on one little piece of technology. I realised this when I was in Tassie a couple of weeks ago and didn't even take a camera!

I finally pulled out my laptop last night and sorted through some of my favourite photos from this winter. It's incredible to realise how much the kids have grown even in the last few months. These photos were from a visit to the duck pond back in May - just after Beau turned 3.

Beau was working on his 'blue steel' look that afternoon. Just like his Dad... :)
